Authors in Italy and Worldwide: Costa Nicoletta
Nicoletta Costa was born in 1953 in Trieste, where she lives and works.
She graduated from the University of Venice with a degree in architecture, but after a few years devoted herself full-time to her favorite activity: writing and illustrating children's books.
She has produced an enormous number of books but does not limit herself to illustrating her own works (she has done a great number for other authors) and is arguably the Italian children's author with the greatest number of works published under her own name.
The most famous among her many characters is GIULIO CONIGLIO.
She frequently meets with children in schools and provides illustrations for exhibit posters. She also designs for toys, stationery and children's apparel and has published numerous books abroad.
